This two-day workshop series for parents and educators describes how the characteristics of autism can lead to problem behaviour. Participants learn how to prevent problem behaviour by using behaviour supports. The series includes the following half day workshops:

This two-day workshop set teaches participants how to follow best practices in autism intervention. It is important to be flexible with methods so that they fit the child and the situation. Photos, taped interview, and video are used to present a series of real families of children with autism. Overall insights into intervention and autism are discussed. The audience for this workshop are parents, therapists and interventionists.
3. Methods in Autism: Case Studies
This full-day workshop describes how the characteristics of Mild ASD can lead to social challenges. Participants learn specific strategies for supporting social understanding at home and school. Strategies include the use of storytelling as a way of teaching social concepts guiding behaviour and positive interaction. The audience for this workshop is parents, educators, and therapists.
